Wiki Wooooo!
Very interesting. This Wiki business I can see being used extensively in the library system. During our last department meeting it was mentioned putting our department manual on Wiki. That would be work very well because it would be easy to update, easy to access and if someone has a better way of doing a task...they can easily edit and add their tips and suggestions.

LibraryThing, LibraryThing, LibraryThing-Hey,Hey,Hey,Hey!!
OH WOW... I've just come from exploring and setting up an account in LibraryThing...
At first I was just going through the motions trying to learn another lesson for kcls27things. But as I kept exploring I found a whole other world opening up to me.
The books I cataloged are books that my son and I have read aloud to each other these past several months.
What do I especially like about LibraryThing? The BookSuggester and the UnSuggester - they are so much fun and helpful in finding 'like' books.
I have yet to tag my books, I'll probably spend some time doing that tomorrow but in the meantime, I'll keep exploring.

Technorati
Technology overload is more like it!
In the past two days I have gone over Tagging, Technorati and Folksonomies, and LibraryThing. I'm still trying to get it all straight in my head. I can see myself using Del.icio.us (especially with all the receipes I hunt for on the web) and LibraryThing looks like alot of fun. Tonight I will try and find several book titles on my shelves that I can list. Although books have been the very air I breathe, I don't know just how much I would use LibraryThing. I think Flickr has taken over my life and has now become my 'nueva pasión'. Because of Flickr, I do understand and appreciate tagging!

MySpace
Well, I finally got around to setting up a Myspace account. It was pretty easy to set up and all but I don't think I'll be hanging around there much. The ads alone drive me crazy!
But then I see my 15 year old daughter connecting and talking and socializing with friends and so I know reaching out to those who do like Myspace in Myspace...it's a good thing. :)
